Kent to Gatwick: Route Overview

Gatwick is the closest major international airport for most of Kent. From north Kent we travel via the M25 and M23 — no central London congestion charge, no Dartford crossing surcharge. From Sevenoaks, Tonbridge or the Weald we route via the A21 and M25. From east Kent (Canterbury, Folkestone, Dover) we join the M20 and M25 before the M23 south into Gatwick.

Gatwick’s Two Terminals: Which One Do You Need?

North Terminal

Home to easyJet (Gatwick’s largest carrier), British Airways short-haul routes, and Norwegian. The majority of European and domestic departures leave from here. Check your boarding pass for the terminal code.

South Terminal

British Airways long-haul intercontinental flights, TUI (Thomson), Wizz Air, and many charter carriers depart from the South Terminal. It is the original terminal building and has its own rail station entrance.

Can you do a very early morning pickup for a Gatwick flight? ⌄
Yes — we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with no unsociable hours surcharge. A 04:00 pickup costs the same as a 10:00 pickup. Early morning airport runs are very common for us and our drivers are experienced at this.

What happens if my flight is delayed on the return? ⌄
We monitor your inbound flight in real time. If it is delayed we simply adjust the pickup time accordingly and wait at no extra charge. Your driver will be at arrivals when you come through, with a name board.

How much luggage can we bring? ⌄
Our 8-seater handles standard cabin and hold luggage for up to 8 passengers. If you have oversized luggage (golf bags, surfboards, pushchairs), please let us know when booking so we can confirm the right vehicle. Our 12 and 16-seater vehicles have generous luggage space.

Is there a Dartford crossing charge? ⌄
For pickups south of the Dartford crossing (Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Canterbury, Dover etc.) there is no Dartford crossing charge as the route does not use it. For north Kent pickups (Gravesend, Dartford) the crossing is nearby but is already included in the fixed price. No surprises.
